Harrison Imports was founded in 2013 by Harrison Beverage, our parent company who is one of the premier Anheuser Busch Distributors in New Jersey and has been doing business since 1956. Harrison Imports is a family-owned company run by Dean Harrison and Brett Matik. They are greatly involved in the local community with organizations like the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City and the Women’s Forum.
Our company focuses on importing quality wines from around the world at competitive retail pricing. As a distributor in New Jersey, we have services available state-wide with an exciting portfolio. Our goal is to provide our customers with an assortment of selections to fit their every need. We offer a great variety of quality value wines, a range of classic domestic products, and some unique, small production wines that include organic and biodynamic wines from various regions. We believe small brands can do big things!
Our offices are located in the heart of Atlantic County and are staffed by focused, competent professionals ready to meet your needs. Our on-site, state of the art warehouse has the ability to store any temperature sensitive product and our fleet of delivery vehicles can get your order to you on time, every time. Harrison Imports team of professionals works closely with producers and distributors to ensure service, productivity and efficiency. With focus on wine label approvals, FDA registration, customs regulations compliance, state brand registrations, ordering logistics and depletion allowances.
Dara Lijoi
NJ Wine Sales Manager
Dara Lijoi is a graduate from Stockton University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing. She has over 8 years of experience in the Food and Beverage Industry where she worked her way up the ladder into Management.
She was born and raised in Cold Spring, New York, in the heart of the Hudson Valley and currently resides in Absecon, NJ. This is where she gets her expected love for nature and the outdoors where she enjoys spending her free time, as well as competitively playing soccer in her co-ed league.
Dara has been enrolled in the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) level 2 and is dedicated to continuing her education. Her favorite wine would be the Argenses Torrontes, from Mendoza because of its unique floral and peach aromas. But can always go for a glass of robust Lodi, Zinfandel.
Adrian Armstrong
Wine Consultant
Adrian attended the University of Delaware where she majored in psychology, while actively working in the food and beverage industry. She then went on to work several years in television for a CBS affiliate station, selling digital and commercial media to local businesses. Adrian, also worked as an event coordinator, on-field photographer and corporate sales manager at a minor league baseball team in Maryland.
Her background comes from a combination of several years working in restaurants, as well as, sales and account management for local businesses. After moving to New Jersey in 2013, she began working for Harrison as a Wine ambassador, later becoming the social media and website manager.
Born in Wilmington, Delaware and raised near Bethany Beach, she has grown to appreciate the faster pace of New Jersey lifestyle. She enjoys spending time with her family and three children at the beach or at home in Pitman, where she is a certified indoor cycling instructor and community coordinator for a youth running series in her town.
Cassandra Moore
Wine Consultant
Cassandra is a graduate from Stockton University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management. She has over 9 years of experience in the Food and Beverage Industry where she worked her way up the ladder into Management. Most of her experience comes from the last 4 years working as a bar manager along the Jersey Shore.
She was born and raised in Manalapan, New Jersey. After college she moved to the shore where she knew she would live forever. Currently residing in Point Pleasant Beach where she spends as much time possible at the beach or hanging with friends and family.
Cassandra has been enrolled in the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET) and is dedicated to continuing her education. Her favorite wine would be the Ancestrale Pinot Grigio because of its organic, refreshing, crisp, and fruity flavors.”
